Niners Baseball Club

Niners Baseball Club was established in 2018.  Going into the 2023/2024 season, we are looking to put together an 8u Academy team and 9u-14u club teams.  We are primarily based out of the Northwest Valley and are looking for players who want to elevate their game to an entirely new level.

NBBC Mission

The mission of the NBBC is to develop each individual athlete to maximize their playing performance through physical, mental, and fitness skills training making them a more complete baseball player. Our goal will be to develop a successful individual both on and off the field by teaching the benefits of hard work, discipline, confidence and self-esteem.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is about Teaching, Development, Preparation and Discipline while always having FUN in the process.

Develop – Physical, Mental, Fitness Skills – Triple .

Teach – Positions, Mechanics, Situations – The Game.

Prepare – Practice, Train, Visualize, Focus – Success.  

Discipline – Self, Team, Execution, Consequences – Mental Toughness.

Fun – Play, React, Enjoy – Game Time.

We will instill the importance of learning the game of baseball through professional instruction, advanced training aids, first class facilities, and technology.   Through hard work, the physical, mental and fitness skills can be learned to give our athletes the competitive edge.
 

Goals & Expectations

NBBC is about quality sportsmanship, class, and a winning attitude. This is not a win at all costs program, but we believe by developing all aspects of the game, executing game situations, and focusing on fundamentals, each team and individual will achieve success. We will teach mutual respect of our family, coaches, teammates, and opponents through a system of following direction, goal setting, and trust.   Our desire is to have players that are willing to work together towards achieving the goal of playing aggressively, unselfishly and smart.

Coaching

All coaching is done by experienced instructors who have played and/or coached at the collegiate or above levels of baseball. We also utilize local high school or college players who help out in an assistant role when necessary. Parents may be utilized for pre-game preparation, first base coaching, and practice drills, but all instruction is done by NBBC staff.   

Practice Facilities

NBBC will utilize 9r Baseball's indoor cage for indoor practices which may emphasize hitting, pitching, basic fielding & base-running. Field practices are held at Victory Lane Sports Complex practice facilities, local Phoenix parks and other baseball facilities as availability permits.  Outdoor practices emphasize all team defensive work, team offense strategies, and game-like situations.
